What demands does modern oncology place on broad collaboration?
Cancer is a global societal challenge. To address it, we must create better conditions for implementing new knowledge, methods, and interventions. We need to think differently and adopt a holistic perspective on health. We need to collaborate in new ways between healthcare, business, and civil society.
We discuss the implementation of the updated cancer strategy "Better Together" and discuss lessons learned and good examples of HOW we can collaborate smarter for better cancer prevention, treatment, care, and quality of life. Collaboration between professions, industries, regions, and between countries; What requirements does this place on leadership and governance, among other things? We will highlight the European cancer plan and cancer mission.
Welcome to Cancer Mission Day, a day dedicated to exploring the implementation of an updated cancer strategy through innovative collaborations to develop and strengthen cancer prevention, treatment, and quality of life. A mix of seminars, workshops, presentations, and networking is organized by a large number of stakeholders and coordinated by the innovation ecosystem Vision Zero Cancer / Testbed Sweden. Key note presentations followed by group discussions
